Estelí, (Spanish pronunciation: [esteˈli]) is a department of Nicaragua. It covers an area of 2,230 km² and has a population of 230,953 (2021 estimate)

Flag
The flag of the department contains a horizontal tricolour of red, white and green. Its flag is very similar to the flag of Hungary, but the colours are lighter and there is a different proportion.
